  7. For your info, CSM are having great problems with the manufacturers of the
  8. Meiko computer you are using for your e-mail.

  10. Effectively, they just can't get a version of thier daughter board for the
  11. SPARCstation 2 host which will work properly with the synchronous serial
  12. ports.

  14. The daughter board wasn't designed to be able to cope with the extra lines
  15. needed for synchronous communications (ie TXclock and RX clock) and they had
  16. to cludge the connection using jump wires from one connector to another!
  17.  
  18. They are thinking of ditching the whole thing and buying either a
  19. SPARCstation 2 or a SPARCstation 10 to replace it.
